What To Expect

Our orthodontic team has one goal – to create a beautiful, healthy smile in a fun and professional setting. We know that there are many orthodontic options in our area, but we happen to believe, our team is number one! Our caring team will make this an amazing journey!

The First Visit

During your first visit, you will meet our doctor and our team. Our patient care coordinator will give you a tour of our office and take diagnostic photos and 3D imaging as needed. We will complete a thorough exam and discuss your smile concerns. We will then suggest the best treatment options and help you decide on the best one for your mouth. We understand that time is so important and so we are often available to provide orthodontist services on the day of your exam if you prefer!

Please take some time to complete our new patient health history form before your first appointment. This is available in the forms tab at the top of this page.

Getting your Braces

Congratulations! Deciding to get your orthodontic treatment is a big decision! After your consultation appointment, we will schedule your first appointment, to begin your journey (unless, of course, you opted to start your journey on the same day as your consultation). The day you get your braces or another orthodontic service usually takes about an hour. You’ll receive your own orthodontic care kit, and our team will be available to answer all of your questions. We’re here to make sure that you are comfortable with all of the new things in your mouth!

Scheduling

You will visit our office about every four to ten weeks depending on your plan. It is important that you stay on track with your treatment goals in the estimated time. To accomplish this, it is imperative that you schedule and attend these appointments. We will work with you to schedule days and times that work best for you. Please give us a call to reschedule when you may be running late for an appointment, or know in advance that you have a conflict so that we may work together to achieve your best results. Our office offers convenient early morning and evening hours for those patients with 8 to 5 jobs or who have school conflicts.

Your General or Pediatric Dentist is a Vital Part of Our Team

We work closely with your dentist to maintain healthy teeth and gums during your orthodontic treatment. We recommend that our patients see their general or pediatric dentist at minimum twice a year for cleanings and evaluation. If we see that you need any dental treatment, we will be happy to coordinate with your dentist to ensure the best result.
